Welcome to my website

Welcome to my website. As your local Member of Parliament I believe it is important to be connected with the community. Here on my website you will find community news, what's on in the electorate, my online office that has information about how I can help you, important community links and my Parliamentary service.

The Sandgate Electorate is a diverse community that is nestled into the north-east of Brisbane City. The electorate includes the Brisbane bayside suburbs of Bald Hills (part), Bracken Ridge, Brighton, Deagon, Fitzgibbon, Sandgate, Shorncliffe and Taigum.

I hope you find the website interesting and informative. But most of all, I look forward to hearing from you.

What's On
Parliamentary Speeches

Our education green paper is now out for comment, and I encourage parents, grandparents, carers and students themselves to have a say. Parents in my electorate have already raised with me the idea of moving year 7 students to high school. As the mother of a 13-year-old who started high school this year, I understand some of the issues facing parents and students.
